At Stratnel, quality is built into every step of our process — from the moment we receive your design files to the moment your parts are delivered. Our ISO 9001:2015 certification is not a badge on the wall. It is a commitment to how we operate every day.
Stratnel Technologies LLP is certified under ISO 9001:2015 by LRQA Limited (Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance) — one of the world's leading independent certification bodies.

These are not aspirations. They are the standards we hold ourselves to every day — across every order, every material, and every customer interaction.
Every project begins with a review of your design files. We check for printability, dimensional feasibility, and material suitability before we begin — catching potential issues before they become expensive mistakes.
Every order is tracked through our production system from receipt to invoicing. If a customer raises a concern against an order or invoice reference, we can trace the printing parameters, conditions, and materials used for that job — enabling rapid root cause analysis and corrective action.
Our team performs checks at each stage of production. Every investment casting pattern is tested for integrity and leaks before dispatch — because a failed pattern means a failed casting.
Every line item in an order is accompanied by an inspection report before dispatch. Parts are measured and verified against your supplied specifications, giving you full visibility of dimensional conformance for every part you receive.
We pack to a high standard. Shipments go out in sturdy cartons with corner protectors and all necessary safeguards to ensure parts arrive at your facility in the same condition they left ours. Protecting your parts in transit is as important to us as making them correctly.
Our quality system requires us to track non-conformances, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions. We treat every problem as an opportunity to improve our systems.
Quality documentation is not optional — it is a regulatory requirement. Our ISO certification gives procurement teams, quality managers, and design engineers the assurance they need to approve Stratnel as a supplier.
Our quality controls translate directly into fewer rejections, less rework, and lower cost per good casting. Several of our customers have worked with us for over six years — a track record that speaks for itself.
Stratnel operates a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015 by LRQA. Our quality procedures include contract review, controlled production parameters, structured dimensional inspection, traceable documentation, and regular internal audits to ensure compliance with client specifications.
A copy of our LRQA ISO 9001:2015 certificate or project-specific quality documentation is available upon request.
The achievable accuracy depends on the printing process, material, part geometry, orientation, size, and post-processing requirements. Unless otherwise agreed, our indicative process tolerances are:
| Process | Indicative Tolerance |
|---|---|
| FDM | ± 0.5% of nominal dimension or ± 0.3 mm, whichever is greater |
| SLA, SLS & Vacuum Casting | ± 0.3% of nominal dimension or ± 0.2 mm, whichever is greater |
These are general process guidelines and do not constitute a tolerance commitment for every feature. Please identify all critical dimensions and tolerances in a drawing when requesting a quotation so that Stratnel can review their feasibility and agree on an appropriate inspection plan.
Measurements are typically taken using calibrated vernier callipers and/or a height gauge on a surface plate. Our standard inspection generally covers selected, readily measurable dimensions across the three principal axes; it is not a complete inspection of every dimension in the drawing or CAD model. Full dimensional inspection or inspection of additional characteristics can be arranged when agreed before production.
Yes. Stratnel normally provides an inspection report covering at least one part from each line item in an order. If you require inspection of additional parts, specific dimensions, 100% inspection, material datasheets, certificates of conformity, or other documentation, please specify this when requesting a quotation, as additional requirements may affect price and lead time.
Please contact Stratnel promptly and provide the relevant Job ID, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs and/or measurement results.
We will review the part against the approved design, agreed specifications, tolerances, and inspection requirements. If a manufacturing defect or non-conformance is verified, Stratnel will, as appropriate, rework or replace the affected part at no additional cost, subject to agreed commercial terms.
